2023-2024 Highlights

This was a stellar season for the BSM boys hockey team. Their record of 21-5-1 earned the Metro West Conference title and the boys received the #3 seed in the Section 6AA tournament. The Red Knights topped the Armstrong-Cooper Wings by a score of 5-1 in the 6AA quarterfinals. In the semifinal the Red Knights faced archrival Edina in a 4:00pm matinee at historic Bloomington Ice Garden. Tied 1-1, the third period was filled with determination and grinding that lead to breakouts and chances. With the game appearing to be headed to overtime, Edina jammed the puck past the Red Knight goalie and the Hornets punched their ticket to the finals with just 12.8 seconds on the clock.

But another team that has sort of flown under the radar and is having an impressive season are the Red Knights from Benilde-St. Margaret’s, who are 16-4-1 and currently ranked No 6 in AA.
