2023-2024 Highlights

This was an excellent season for the BSM girls hockey team. Their record of 21-4-2 earned the Metro West Conference title and the girls received the #1 seed in the Section 6AA tournament. The Red Knights earned a bye in the quarterfinals and knocked off the Armstrong-Cooper Wings by a score of 8-1 in the 6AA semifinal. In the finals the Red Knights faced archrival Edina in a 7:00pm face off at Parade Ice Gardens.

In a game of grit and desire the Red Knights fought back to tie the game 3-3 early in the third. Edina showed their own pluck and tallied two third period goals to take a 5-3 lead. With the game appearing to be over BSM  snuck one past Edina goalie to inch with in one goal of overtime. Nonetheless, the Hornets were able to hold of the Red Knights and punch their ticket to State.
